Michigan

Spending time with Dave's Family in Michigan. We were able to celebrate Dave's 40th birthday with his family.

Getting ready to step onto the glass ledge. The ledge is actually a cubed balcony made of glass suspended 1,353 feet in the air. It is made of 3 layers of 1/2inch thick glass. You step out like you are on ice and can look straight down.

This picture was shot while they were praying. I am not sure I was supposed to take it, but knew I would never be in a mosque anytime again to relive this experience. The men stand shoulder to shoulder and heel to heel. They fill in each row before starting a new one.

We sat along the back wall in the chairs. The women had to go behind the partioned area and were not allowed to be with the men. We only had priviledge to view the service because we were visiting.
