After a long search the doll was finally found-the last one of her kind. We were so thankful that she was able to get the one she wanted. The one that looked just like her. Brown hair, light skin, freckles-the only thing missing was pierced ears. So that was our next stop.
After her ears were pierced we were able to take her to lunch.

Our Trip to American Girl
Today we finally were able to fulfill Grandma's lifelong dream-taking her grand-daughters to get their first American Girl Doll. As babies they were given a bitty baby and now at 6 and after saving for a year they were able to get their doll. We started the day off early as we had to get the train at 10.

My first Football Practice
Getting Ready for his first practice. Carson is excited to wear his new cleats and sweatbands. I can't believe it is finally here. What a big day.
With his sister by his side to cheer him on every step of the way.
Following in his daddy's footsteps. Carson walks up to Pennyslvania Ave-not to watch but to meet his coach for the very first practice.
First we had to start off by stretching, lots and lots of stretching.

Marriott Cypress Harbor Resort
Here are a few other pictures from our resort area.
Here is some pictures of where we stayed. It was a beautiful resort. We had some fun as a family riding bikes and swimming. We were able to play miniature golf and play on the playground. They had a huge lake for paddle boats and fishing as well. There were 3 swimming pools, a sauna, and hot tubs. In one pool there was a bubble area and in the other pool a waterfall.
Disney Trip
Well we are finally home and now I am trying to sort through all 483 pictures. It is so hard to pick and choose the ones I want for to tell the story of a dream vacation. We had a blast. So I have grouped them together by different days. On this day we went to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Peyton was able to visit with Tinker Bell, Fawn, and Iridessa. We had favorite rides like It's A Small World, Dumbo, and Splash Mountain to name a few. We saw many characters and were able to get autographs as well. At Downtown Disney the kids joined in the dance party.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios
Today we went to Animal Kingdom. It was another hot day and with a 60% chance of rain we were hoping to get in as much as possible. We started the day at Animal Kingdom and then headed over to Hollywood Studios. I forgot to put the battery in my camera, but was thankful that my dad had his so that we could get some pictures of the kids. Today Peyton went on some more big rides. She went on Mt. Everest. She liked it but not when it went backwards. I am so proud of her for trying new things. Carson was happy to spend time with Mimi and Poppy and went to "A Bug's Life." We all met up to see the Lion King show. After the show we went over to the Roaring Rapids. We hoped that we wouldn't get soaked and we were lucky because the family across from us did. After this we had a chance to go back on Mt. Everest and then had lunch at a great BBQ place. When we finished we headed over to Hollywood Studios. Here we saw the Beauty and the Beast Show. While we saw the show Dave got FastPasses for Tower of Terror. Peyton didn't know what was ahead. She went on, but her and Dave said they would never do that again. I on the other hand actually enjoyed it.
Waiting to get in the park and looking for Mickey Mouse to start the day.

But the big news is here:
While we were there Peyton and Carson entred into a dance contest. They were moving and shaking and were picked out of a crowd along with 6 other groups. They were so cute. They made it to the final two and then the WON!!!!!!!!!! We could hardly believe it.
It was so adorable.
