My first Football Practice

Getting Ready for his first practice. Carson is excited to wear his new cleats and sweatbands. I can't believe it is finally here. What a big day.
With his sister by his side to cheer him on every step of the way.

Following in his daddy's footsteps. Carson walks up to Pennyslvania Ave-not to watch but to meet his coach for the very first practice.

First we had to start off by stretching, lots and lots of stretching.

Getting ready to run some sprints. Learning our two point and three point stances.

At the end we huddle up as a team with the coach.

Marriott Cypress Harbor Resort

Dave, Peyton, and Carson enjoying a nice and relaxing day by the pool. We are so thankful that we were able to visit the clinic to get Carson some relief from swimmer's ear. He had to wear ear plugs and didn't like it, but by the end of his trip he was feeling much better.
Mom in front of the resort area.

Here is the view outside of our porch. The ramp goes to a shuttle that takes you over to the main pool area and clubhouse. This is where kids could rent paddleboats and boats to go fishing.

Relaxing by the pool. Here is a picture of the sauna/waterfall. The kids loved it and so did Poppy.

Here are a few other pictures from our resort area.

Here is some pictures of where we stayed. It was a beautiful resort. We had some fun as a family riding bikes and swimming. We were able to play miniature golf and play on the playground. They had a huge lake for paddle boats and fishing as well. There were 3 swimming pools, a sauna, and hot tubs. In one pool there was a bubble area and in the other pool a waterfall.

Disney Trip

Well we are finally home and now I am trying to sort through all 483 pictures. It is so hard to pick and choose the ones I want for to tell the story of a dream vacation. We had a blast. So I have grouped them together by different days. On this day we went to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. Peyton was able to visit with Tinker Bell, Fawn, and Iridessa. We had favorite rides like It's A Small World, Dumbo, and Splash Mountain to name a few. We saw many characters and were able to get autographs as well. At Downtown Disney the kids joined in the dance party.

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios

Today we went to Animal Kingdom. It was another hot day and with a 60% chance of rain we were hoping to get in as much as possible. We started the day at Animal Kingdom and then headed over to Hollywood Studios. I forgot to put the battery in my camera, but was thankful that my dad had his so that we could get some pictures of the kids. Today Peyton went on some more big rides. She went on Mt. Everest. She liked it but not when it went backwards. I am so proud of her for trying new things. Carson was happy to spend time with Mimi and Poppy and went to "A Bug's Life." We all met up to see the Lion King show. After the show we went over to the Roaring Rapids. We hoped that we wouldn't get soaked and we were lucky because the family across from us did. After this we had a chance to go back on Mt. Everest and then had lunch at a great BBQ place. When we finished we headed over to Hollywood Studios. Here we saw the Beauty and the Beast Show. While we saw the show Dave got FastPasses for Tower of Terror. Peyton didn't know what was ahead. She went on, but her and Dave said they would never do that again. I on the other hand actually enjoyed it.
Waiting to get in the park and looking for Mickey Mouse to start the day.
Mimi and Carson in the Tree of Life getting ready to see a Bug's Life.
Here they are pretending to be warthogs. I love those little tusks.

After the Lion King show we were able to visit with Minnie and Donald Duck.

We stopped by and saw Pocahontas, Stitch and Lilo as well.

We had so much fun-
Beauty and the Beast-our favorite show at Hollywood Studios.
At the end of a hot day-Carson just found his own little place to take a nice nap.

Disney Dance Competiton

Sunset over Lake Buena Vista at Downtown Disney.
Mom and I enjoying a great night.

Peyton and I having a great time. She used her money from Phil to buy a charm bracelet and a Minnie Mouse playset. She is having a great time. While we were here she was able to be sprinkled with Pixie Dust. It must have been magical because according to Peyton it helped her and Carson with their dancing.

Carson bought a pirate set with a telescope and started scouting out the scene.

Photos in front of the flowers entering Downtown Disney.
But the big news is here:
While we were there Peyton and Carson entred into a dance contest. They were moving and shaking and were picked out of a crowd along with 6 other groups. They were so cute. They made it to the final two and then the WON!!!!!!!!!! We could hardly believe it.

It was so adorable.

Here are some pictures from our day.
