Carson's Birthday Party

Carson's Football Birthday Party.
The cake was made by my girlfriend from work. She is also the same one that made Peyton's Barbie doll cake.

This is Meghan. She is a "Big Kid" at Carson's daycare center. She came to the party today to help with the kids. It made Carson's day to have her here. He tells me that she is his best friend.

Carson had a beautiful day for his party. Today was all about him and for the first time since he was born he had a birthday all to himself. It was so special to see his face light up when he realized that he had the day all to himself.
He had all of his friends over from his pre-school class. His cousins, Connor and Samara came over and so did his best friend Natalie.

The kids had a great time with the obstacle course. Dave put it all together and ran the kids through.

The kids had a great time playing on all of the equipment. We had hot dogs, pretzels, chips and cheese balls. The kids were able to play some more with the big parachute and big bouncy ball. Then we did cake and the pinata. The best part was that the kids were able to play, have fun and laugh, laugh, laugh!!!!!

Peyton's 6th Birthday Party. She had 12 girls over from her kindergarten and daycare program. They had a great time playing with Barbies, singing on the stage, and making lip gloss. A friend of mine made the cake and it was so delicious. The girls had a great time and lots of fun.

Happy Easter

Easter Sunday was a wonderful day rejoicing in truth that Our Savior is ALIVE, indeed. Our church had a wonderful service and the spirit of Jesus was present among us.
IT was a blessing to have my parents with me at church. I conducted childrens' worship time and it the power of the spirit was felt there as well. After church we went home and had an Easter Egg hunt with the kids. They were able to search for their baskets and eggs left in the backyard by the "Easter Bunny" Brutus-even enjoyed in the fun helping the kids find their eggs.
We spent the rest of the morning relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. We then went up to my Uncle's house in NE Philly. Here we joined my sister, Don, Connor, and Mara. My brother and Emily met us there as well. It was great to see my cousins and have such a wonderful day blessed with family all around us.
My uncle made lamb, ham, and lasagna. Each of us brought sides and desserts so yes, there was plenty of food. The kids had a great time hunting for eggs, climbing in trees and playing football.
