Baptism

It was September 2007 when I realized that while I had a great husband, two beautiful children and a wonderful career I wasn't happy. I was lonely and depressed. I was searching for something. It was here at Living Faith Alliance that God lead me to find what was missing-Him. In my life-not just on Sundays, but everyday-through family, friends and time of worship. That is why today I am being baptized. To publically display my submission to Christ through a life lead by God's word. I am called to be his ambassador on a mission to live a life through his teachings. I know that my God goes before me, he will never leave me or forsake me. He is leading me in a life on his time for his plan. Through his son dying for my sins I am taking this step to be baptized. To die from a life focused on myself and to live a new life filled with his spirit. I am called to trust in him and honor him by following his word. I am no longer empty, no longer searching. My heart has been filled with a love that only God could provide.

"For in Him you have been enriched in every way." 1 Corinthians 1: 5

McKenna's party at Camden Children's Garden

Carson and I spent the day at Camden Children's Garden. It was a beautiful representation of all that has created. Here the kids were able to play in the water. It was a lot of fun, but very, very wet and with no change of dry clothes. Carson got a new t-shirt out of it. He had a great time playing with his friends and it was a priceless moment.

In these pictures Carson was exploring all the different exhibits. There was a storybook area of Alice and Wonderland, The Three Pigs, and Jack in the beanstalk. He also got to go back in prehistoric times and view a dinosaur garden.

One of the most beautiful sites was the butterfly garden. Such precious creatures. With such delicate and beautiful features.
Carson was able to play on a neat playground, ride a train and a storybook carousel.

We had a wonderful day at the Camden Children's garden for Mckenna's birthday. I highly recommend it to everyone. A great day. You can bring your own lunch and have a picnic and it is right next to the aquarium and Wiggins Park. It was a great day.

First T-ball game

Peyton's first t-ball game. A rainy Saturday morning. We weren't sure the game would get in, but we were able to get in 2 full innings. Peyton's team batted first. The way it works in t-ball at the age of 4-5yr olds is that during the first inning everybody hits and then each inning after they play 3 outs or 5 runs. The rain came down, the kids got muddy, but the smiles never left. It was great to see the kids excited to be hitting the ball and running around the bases.
Peyton hit the ball both times, forgot to run and on her first at bat was out at first, but at the second at bat she got a single and then got out on her way to second. Dave coached a great game. The kids had fun and of course everybody wins. The game was a tie.
